Meet Peter J.S. Smith
Interim Director of the MBL Cellular Dynamics Program
Director, Biocurrents Research Center

peter smithPeter J.S. Smith was recently named interim director of the MBL Cellular Dynamics Program (CDP), a merger of the former Architectural Dynamics in Living Cells Program and the Molecular Physiology Program. The CDP aims to accelerate knowledge of basic biology and disease through the development and utilization of tools customized to shed light on life’s most essential processes.

Meet the Housing Department

housingDirector of Housing and Conferences Eileen McDonald came to MBL last fall from the Hilton Hotel in Mystic, CT, where she was general manager. We talked with Eileen and some of her staff, including housing coordinator Deb Deering, assistant housing coordinator Suzanne Livingstone, front office assistant Cindy MacDonald, and head housekeeper Noreen McNamara on a recent morning. As we chatted, it became clear that summer was heavy on their minds.
