Marine Biological Laboratory to Sponsor Artisan Fair August 12

WOODS HOLE, MA—The Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) will sponsor a Woods Hole Artisans’ Summer Fair on Friday, August 12 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Waterfront Park, Water Street, Woods Hole. The event is free and open to the public.

The fair will include photography, jewelry, pottery, and sculpture and will feature the work of more than 20 fine artists and skilled artisans from surrounding communities. For more information, call 508-289-7422.

Because public parking is extremely limited in the village of Woods Hole, visitors are encouraged to park in the town of Falmouth and take the WHOOSH trolley into the village. For trolley schedule and fees, visit www.capecodtransit.org.

The Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) is dedicated to scientific discovery and improving the human condition through research and education in biology, biomedicine, and environmental science. Founded in 1888 in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, the MBL is an independent, nonprofit corporation.
