Marine Biological Laboratory to Host Holiday Bazaar, December 2
Event will feature shopping, dining, free tours
WOODS HOLE, MAThe Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) will sponsor its annual Holiday Bazaar on Thursday, December 2 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the MBLs Swope Center, 5 North Street, Woods Hole. The event, sponsored by the MBL Activities Committee, is free and open to the public.
Spend a relaxed day of holiday shopping at the MBL! The bazaar will feature one-of-a-kind treasures including jewelry, knitted items, and pottery from talented artisans and crafters. Shoppers can also take advantage of holiday sales on sea-inspired clothing, books, toys, and more at the MBL Associates Gift Shop, located at 100 Water Street, or take a break with pastries, coffee, and lunch (available for a fee) at Café Swope.
In conjunction with the holiday bazaar, the MBL is pleased to offer free, guided tours of the laboratory on December 2. Guests will learn about MBL history and get up close with marine organisms vital to our research. Tours offered at 1:00 and 2:00 PM, space is limited, pre-registration required. On street, metered parking is available on Water, MBL, and North Streets, located near the Swope Center.
