Falmouth Forum Series 2003-2004

A series of lectures, performances, and presentations sponsored by the Associates of the Marine Biological Laboratory.

Lillie Auditorium, 7:30 PM. Lectures are free and open to the public.

A buffet dinner precedes each lecture at 6:00 pm, in the Swope Dining Room. Dinner tickets are $16 and must be purchased in advance at the MBL Communications Office in Woods Hole, or at Eight Cousins Children's Books, Main Street, Falmouth. The talk will explore the cultural origins of the well-known images of Bohemia as a distinct social and cultural space and will ask why modern artists have tended to see themselves as antagonists of bourgeois life and conventions.
