Corporation Elects New Science Council Members

At its annual meeting in August, the MBL Corporation elected five scientists to serve as members of the MBL Science Council’s Class of 2002.

Clay M. Armstrong of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School will represent Summer Science.

Peter Armstrong of the University of California, Davis, will serve as Member-at-Large.

Charles Hopkinson will represent The Ecosystems Center.

Mitchell Sogin will represent the Bay Paul Center.

Janis C. Weeks of the University of Oregon will represent Education.

Robert Barlow of SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse is currently serving as Chair of the Science Council.
