MBL Corporation Elects New Science Council Members
Robert Palazzo (University of Kansas), Jelle Atema (Boston University Marine Program), Leah Haimo (University of California, Riverside), Scott Fraser (Caltech), and Peter Smith (MBL) were elected by the Corporation to serve as members of the Science Council’s Class of 2003. Dr. Palazzo was elected as Member-at-Large and will Chair the group. Dr. Atema will represent the Boston University Marine Program, Dr. Haimo will represent Summer Science, Dr. Fraser will represent Education, and Dr. Smith will represent Year-Round Science. They join Clay Armstrong, Peter Armstrong, Chuck Hopkinson, Mitch Sogin, and Janis Weeks, who are members of the Class of 2002. |
