MBLWHOI Library News

You’ll notice a new feature in many of the MBLWHOI Library databases. When you display your search results you will notice a new “GetText” button. This button will lead you to:

• full text of the journal article or book online (if available)
  
• an automatic search of the MBLWHOI Library online catalog
  
• an Interlibrary Loan request form
  
• a Web search using Google for an author name
  
• a link to get help from a librarian
  
  
  

New Document Delivery Interface

The Library has also launched a new interface to document delivery to make it easier to get what you need!

The benefits of this new document delivery service are:

• Easy, streamlined sign in. Users logon once and make multiple requests
  without having to fill out new forms
  
• Forms service. If we don’t have it in GetText, the system will fill out the form for you
  
• Better PDF delivery.
  
• Tracking requests. Users can review present and past ILL activity, check the status of requests and view PDFs 24/7.
