iPass - Internet Service Around the Globe

The MBL’s IT Department is offering a new service, called iPass, that enables authorized users to access the Internet from 15,000 places around the world
using a “local” phone number. This service works with OS X and Windows 2000 or higher.

As part of our iPass introduction, IT staff will install iPass and give your laptop a spring cleaning—checking for viruses and necessary system updates.

There is no charge for the spring cleaning or the iPass software and installation, but you will need a valid MBL account for telephone charges. (Fees vary, but average pennies per minute in the U.S./Europe/Asia to 30 cents per minute in some parts of the world).

Please complete an IT workorder so we can schedule a time to work with you and your laptop by going to, <http://helpdesk.mbl.edu/workorder.htx>.
