MBL Employees Receive Beacon Award

The MBL's Frontiers in Reproduction course has awarded its Beacon Award to Education Office staff Herb Luther and Martha Peterson and Zeiss representative Rudi Rottenfusser.

The annual award is given to an individual or individuals who have served as an outstanding source of enlightened guidance to the Frontiers In Reproduction program in its efforts to advance promising young scholars" careers in the field of reproductive sciences research. Luther, Peterson, and Rottenfusser all play an instrumental role in coordinating equipment loans for courses and providing support to course faculty.  "This award is especially reserved to honor those who have played a vital role in the success of the course," said FIR Course Director Asgi T. Fazleabas. "Martha, Herb, and Rudi have given us tremendous support over these past years and their dedication to detail is what has kept this course running smoothly."  Luther, Peterson, and Rottenfusser will be honored at an awards banquet in June.
