Communications Office Hosts Monthly Tea

In an effort to learn more about and ultimately better communicate various areas of research at the MBL, the Office of Communications and Public Affairs has begun hosting monthly “teas” with MBL scientists.  These informal sessions are designed to help members of the Development and Communications staffs stay up-to-date with current research so that they may effectively promote the Laboratory’s work to the public. Visiting scientists are asked to speak briefly about an area of their research, with the majority of the one-hour session open for questions and informal discussion.  The Communications Office kicked off the program in January with Jerry Melillo, co-director of The Ecosystems Center.  If you are interested in talking with us about your research,

please contact Gina Hebert at x7725 or via e-mail: <ghebert@mbl.edu>.
