From Marine Resources…

Marine Resource’s project to create sustainable aquaculture in Haiti has recently received national attention. “In Haiti: Feed the Fish, then the People” appeared in the December 4 issue of the Christian Science Monitor. The article outlined the work being undertaken by the Program in Scientific Aquaculture to develop fish food for tilapia being raised in rural Haiti. The full article can be viewed at <http://www.csmonitor.com/2003/1204/p14s01-stss.html>.

Bill Mebane and Scott Lindell will travel to Haiti in January to meet with the villagers and missionaries who are participating in the tilapia project.

Scott Lindell has been named Marine Resources Manager.
