OneCard Building Access Update

Lillie, Loeb, Whitman, Swope, Starr, and the MRC are now locked and accessible after hours only by those holding authorized MBL Photo ID access cards. Ebert Hall is locked 24-hours per day and is only accessible using an access card.

All doors to these buildings are locked weekdays from 5:00 PM until 8:00 AM. They remain locked at all times on weekends and holidays. Call boxes are located outside of each building should you need assistance from the watch staff after business hours or on weekends. Card access is available on the following doors:
  • Lillie — lower level handicapped (parking lot) entrance and the MBL St. main lobby entrance
  • Whitman — main entrance
  • Loeb — quadrangle and parking lot entrances
  • Ebert hall — bike entrance and two inner doors in the main lobby
  • Swope — main entrance (the main Swope door will lock at 10:00 PM and open at 6:30 am)
  • MRC — Main Entrance and Tank Room
  • Starr Building — all first floor entrances and passageway from ESL (Environmental Sciences Laboratory) to Homestead

All other doors in these buildings will be locked, allowing for exit only.

Getting your access card:
If you have not picked up your new MBL access card (remember, your old Library card will NOT work on any of these doors), please stop by the Digital Processing Center on the second floor of the Lillie Building weekdays between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM to have your photo taken and obtain your card.

Please note:
Access to Swope and Ebert Hall is for residents of those dormitories only.
Contact Joe Hayes to obtain access to the Bike Room.
Contact Louis Kerr to obtain access to the Microscopy Lab.
Contact Scott Lindell to obtain access to the MRC Tank Room.
MBL Corporation Members must replace their old cards to obtain access to the Lillie Building and the Library.
