Jerry Melillo Elected President of Ecological Society of America
Congratulations to Ecosystems Co-director Jerry Melillo who has just been elected president of the Ecological Society of America. He will begin serving as President-elect during the summer of 2004. Jerry brings a unique set of qualifications to this job as as an active scientist who has served in Washington as a program manager at NSF and as the Environmental Advisor at the Office of Science and Technology. The position includes pre- and post-term service on the ESA Board of Directors.
