Chowder fests to carnival rides, petting zoos to horse-pulling contests, face painting to fine arts — there is nothing quite like Cape Cod’s summer festivals and fairs. Why not check out one or two of these upcoming traditions and add a spash of culture (and fun!) to your summer?


Cape Cod Chowder Festival
Cape Cod Melody Tent, Hyannis

Who serves the best chowder on Cape Cod? You be the judge! Now in its 28th year, this fun (and filling!) festival entitles patrons to unlimited chowder tastings and music under the Melody Tent.


Art in the Village Festival
Barnstable Village
June 28 & 29, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hosted by the Cape Cod Art Association, this festival is held in the heart of Barnstable Village along historic Route 6A and offers visitors the opportunity to buy original art, visit with sidewalk artists, or take in an art demonstration.


30th Annual Arts & Crafts Street Fair
Main Street, Falmouth
July 9, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Free!

This popular summertime festival hosted by the Falmouth Village Association includes over 200 vendors featuring a variety of arts & crafts. In addition, food vendors and local non-profit organizations provide tasty treats and information.

Nothing says summer like an old fashioned county fair. This annual event, a Cape Cod summer tradition for 164 years, features 4-H demonstrations, petting zoos, horticulture displays, rides, games, live music, arts & crafts, food, and vendors with various arts and crafts for sale.
